The look is very feminine and flattering. Without the restriction of under shorts they feel super light and, after playing,  particularly in the heat of last week, so comfortable …

Ideal for the summer season – when less layering in every way possible is definitely more.

(However, let’s be honest, this design definitely doesn t  overtake the SKORT when it comes to most of the year when beating the cold is top of the list ! )

With the new SKIRT you do need separate under shorts – but the advantage of this style is that it allows you to find a pair that fit perfectly – from Poivre Blanc themselves, or Nike, or Wilson etc.

The advantage being that as they are not built-in, you don t need to constantly wash your skirt, only the shorts.  Let’s face it tennis skirts don t really get that dirty otherwise.

The skirt will inevitably last longer and look better longer because of this fact.  One of the trends of late has been a very pleated design, and this feature of fine pencil pleats obviously fares much better the less you wash and wash and wash…

The look is crisp, and the white stays a lovely new looking pure colour.

The other point is that when overheating in a match we found the fact that you only wear ONE layer under the skirt, and can treat your separate UNDER SHORTS as underwear,  its much easier to stay cool.
