Made by one of the most trusted racket manufacturers in the sport, the HEAD Radical Junior tennis racket condenses the benefits of the HEAD Radical series into a smaller package perfect for junior players aiming for the top. A large headsize provides more margin for error in your shots, and the lightweight build makes it easy to handle over long matches, ideal for junior players in the green stage between the ages of 9-11. HEAD’s new Auxetic 2.0 technology utilises Auxetic engineering principles at the yoke and the end of the grip to provide superb feedback and an unparalleled feel every time you strike the ball. Strategically placed graphene elements enhance the frame’s strength and stability and optimise energy transfer from racket to ball to take your power to another level.

Head Sport was founded in the United States in 1950 by aeronautical engineer Howard Head. In the late 1960s, a tennis division was created when Howard Head figured out a way of strengthening the tennis racket by introducing the aluminium frame.  The idea became a success and was first introduced in the 1969 US Open.   In 1975 , one of the tennis players that Head sponsored, Arthur Ashe, incredibly won Wimbledon, defeating the favoured Jimmy Connors.  In 1997, Head created the first titanium and graphite tennis racket.    Head proved to be successful in 2012, with three Major winners during the year : Novak Djokovic at the Australian Open, Maria Sharapova at the French Open and Andy Murray at the US Open.  Head started integrating graphene into their rackets in 2013.

Their modern range has options for every type of play. There’s the ever-popular Prestige, providing absolute precision since 1987, the versatile Radical with its vibrant paintjobs, and the super-fast Speed, which remains Novak’s racket of choice. More recent additions include the aggressive Gravity, endorsed by Sascha Zverev, the spin-focused Extreme, recommended by Matteo Berrettini, and the explosive Boom, a power-focused frame endorsed by US prodigy Coco Gauff. Whichever you choose, you’ll perform at your best with a HEAD racket.
