BABOLAT PURE DRIVE LITE Tennis Racket
BABOLAT PURE DRIVE LITE – Light-weight, manoeuverable version of Babolat’s powerful Pure Drive racket. The Pure Drive Lite is the most manoeuvrable racket in the Babolat range. It is light-weight and head-light, a combination which allows players to swing easily. It is not lacking in power either with FSI Power Technology, providing one of the liveliest and powerful string-beds on a racket.
Built for the modern game and the modern player. The Pure Drive range equips players with a blend of power and spin that has stood the test of time. Going for over 20 years, the Pure Drive’s feel and response has been relished by multiple generations of tennis players – ranging from those just getting started, to tour professionals including Fabio Fognini and Garbine Muguruza.
The 2018 model retains the DNA of the legendary frame and even with a new look and design, can continue to be called the ‘blue one’. The new Pure Drive includes Babolat’s FSI Power Technology resulting in even more power and spin in comparison to previous generations, thanks to the wide string spacing and diamond shaped grommet holes. Babolat’s new Cortex Pure Feelsystem has been updated with viscoelastic rubber used in the space industry by SMAC, providing more comfort, more dampening and more feel.

BABOLAT was founded in 1875 in Lyon, France, and is the oldest racket sports company in the world. Its originator, Pierre Babolat, invented the first racket strings – made of natural gut, and 1925 Rene Lacoste won the French Open using a tennis racket strung with Babolat strings. Since then Babolat strings have won at least one Grand Slam title every year. In 1994 the company diversified from strings and introduced its first tennis racket. Babolat has continued to build its reputation by offering products at the forefront of technology and by supplying equipment to generations of champions who have won the most prestigious competitions.
