BABOLAT DRIVE 23″ Junior Tennis Racket

BABOLAT DRIVE 23 Inch Junior Tennis Racket – White / Pink.   A graphite composite ‘FUSED’ racket – ideal for the intermediate junior player.  The larger racket head allows the juniors to easily hit the ball, and its light weight allows the youngster to develop a good technique when they swing with the racket without requiring too much strength – helping them develop the basics of what will be a full stroke.  Supplied with Full Racket Cover.

It’s important to find the right size racket for your child – as a guideline it is aimed at youngsters between 6-8years old.  (bear in mind children develop differently and in our Farnham store we have special Babolat height chart that identifies exactly what size of racket is correct – alongside our staff observing how strong, or tall, a child might be for their age).

BABOLAT was founded in 1875 in Lyon, France, and is the oldest racket sports company in the world.  Its originator, Pierre Babolat, invented the first racket strings – made of natural gut, and 1925 Rene Lacoste won the French Open using a tennis racket strung with Babolat strings.  Since then Babolat strings have won at least one Grand Slam title every year. In 1994 the company diversified from strings and introduced its first tennis racket.  Babolat has continued to build its reputation by offering products at the forefront of technology and by supplying equipment to generations of champions who have won the most prestigious competitions.
